Calylophus serrulatus, known as Yellow Sundrops or Plains Evening Primrose, is a hardy, woody-based perennial native to North America. It produces bright yellow, four-petaled flowers that open all day (unlike true evening primroses) that bloom from June to October.  The plants are tough, drought-tolerant plants that are excellent for dry gardens, rock gardens, and prairies in full sun and well-drained soil. It is known for its adaptability to hot, dry conditions. Rare seeds.
