Cephalaria alpina, commonly known as the yellow cephalaria, alpine scabious or yellow scabious, produces soft-yellow scabiosa-like flowerheads from June until August. Easy to care for and suitable for natural plantings. Will self sow in suitable locations. Attracts butterflies and other pollinators. The plants are very hardy, and native to the Alps in Europe.
