Fragrant Virgin's Bower is a vigorous, deciduous, perennial climbing vine notable for its highly fragrant white flowers that bloom from mid-summer to autumn. Native to Southern Europe and North Africa, it is widely used in gardens to cover arbors, pergolas, and walls.  The star-shaped, white, sweetly scented flowers are often described as smelling of vanilla or almond. Support is required. The plants are fast-growing. Prefers full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. Can be cut back to ground each spring (pruning group 3).
