Darlingtonia californica, also called the California pitcher plant, cobra lily, or cobra plant, is a species of carnivorous plant. Forming interesting pitchers that resemble a rearing cobra with a forked leaf appearing similar to a snake's tongue. The roots of these plants need to stay cool, watering with refrigerated distilled, rain or reverse osmosis water can help.
