Striking flowers compromised of strong, curved green tubes, with long hairs, that are produced all summer long. The flowers are surrounded by attractive, heart-shaped silver-veined. The plants are drought resistant, trailing or climbing. Native to Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay, and Argentina. Makes an excellent hanging basket plant! The flowers attracts butterflies.

Pipevine swallowtails are butterflies that feed on many plants in the genus Aristolochia. The caterpillars of these butterflies sequester acids from the plants they eat, making them poisonous to predators.
