Mountain Snowberry is an attractive evergreen shrub with small white bell-shaped flowers (similar to lily of the valley flowers) and decorative white berries! The plant overall is low-growing and makes a great ground cover. The foliage of this particular variety is glossy, and evergreen, so even without the blossoms, the plant is an interesting addition to a garden. If grown in colder climates, the plant will need to be protected during the winter months. Makes for an interesting addition to a rock garden. Native to rocky alpine areas New Zealand, Australia and Tasmania.
