This hardy perennial is native to parts of Northern Africa, Southern Europe and Western Asia. Grows well in well-drained soils. Makes for a great cut-flower, blooming from June to July. In colder climates, corms can be dug up and stored in a cool dry area and replanted in the Spring once the last chance of frost has passed.
