This hardy perennial is native to Eastern Europe, growing well in well-drained soils. Makes for a great addition to a rock garden. Once established, plant will spread through stolons, forming a mat, making it a great groundcover plant. Grows best in full sun, though can handle some shade. Plants may be a little shorter if grown in full sun as opposed to shade. Its an early bloomer, blooming from May to June.
