This hardy perennial is native to Southern Europe and Northern Africa. In warmer climates, the foliage is evergreen, while in colder winters, it may die back to the roots. Starts off with a white blossom, but as the blossom ages, fades into a pink/purple colour. Blooms from April to May and is a great pollinator plant for honey bees. Would be a great addition for a rock garden.
