A stunning Iris for the perennial garden, Iris sibirica, commonly used as an ornamental plant in perennial gardens. In our gardens, we have this Iris located in both wet soils where they traditionally thrive, and also in an area with regular soil that sometimes gets dry, and they seem to perform surprisingly well also. It prefers full sun, but can tolerate part shade. They are sturdy plants and do not need to be staked.
