This perennial flower is native to Southwestern end of North America. It has received the Award for Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Flowers first year, so can be grown as an annual. Second year plants will flower from June to September. Great pollinator plant for hummingbirds. This plant grows in marshy areas, preferring part shade.
