This hardy perennial is native to parts of Europe. Does well in full sun conditions, though can do well in part shade as well. In full sun, the plant may not get quite as tall. Although rated to be hardy from zones 5-8, it may be hardy in zone 4, though may need some extra protection during the Winter months. Blooms into interesting looking spiky flowers, will bloom from June to July. Grows well in containers or in rock gardens.
