An absolutely stunning perennial for the garden, these Pineapple Lillies look like they are tender tropical plants, but instead, they are fully hardy perennials to zone 6, and possibly colder. They have survived winters in our zone 4/5 gardens as well, so they may be hardier with some winter protection, or simply dig the bulbs up in the fall and store in a cool location for the winter. Green/white flowers are edged in purple! A cute tuft of leaves sits atop the flowers.
