Drumstick Primula flowers are unique, in that they form balls of flowers on tall stems! Primulas are one of the first perennial to bloom in the spring, and blooms are tolerant of the cold frosts. Grow plants in part shade. They are ideal for planting under deciduous trees that allow sun to pass through in the spring before the leaves emerge, and later provide during the hot summer.
