Sarracenia flava var maxima, the yellow pitcher plant, creates bright green, almost yellow trumpet shaped pitchers. 

The large flowers are extremely showy, bright yellow, and nodding with an umbrella-like style. They are held on tall stems above the plants. The flowers are aromatic, with a light lemon-y scent, lasting several weeks, attracting spring pollinators.
