Sarracenia 'Maroon' is a naturally occurring hybrid of Sarracenia rubra and Sarracenia purpurea. It is compact with ruffled rich dark maroon-coloured pitchers with a satin sheen.

The large flowers are extremely showy, fragrant and dark-red, and are held on tall stems above the plants. The flowers last several weeks, attracting spring pollinators. Overall Sarracenia 'Maroon' produces a showy display in all seasons!
