This hardy perennial has fairly-wide evergreen leaves, and forms tidy clumps that are non-invasive! Plants add a nice bright, glowing color to the perennial garden. Plants are happy to grow in almost any soil type, though it is interesting to note that they are quite happy in boggy soils also. Plants produce interesting black berries in late summer and fall, that provide a nice contrast to the golden foliage.
