A first-year flowering perennial with adorable red-pruple flowers! The plants grow well in full sun to part shade conditions. Easy to grow, this flower can be used for erosion control, ground cover, or just as a nice added pop of colour in early spring to attract honey bees to your garden with purple-red blossoms. Often flowers a second time each year from August to October. It will self-sow, so it will slowly spread from the original planting area.
